Volume Stories - Graphic Design Stacks & Social Carousels
Overview
At Volume Stories, I worked as a graphic designer focused on editorial and social content. This page showcases my design work creating mini-magazines called “Stacks”, social carousel posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, and occasional marketing collateral that supported campaigns and product launches.
Stacks — Mini Magazines
Stacks are bite-sized editorial issues designed for quick, high-impact reading. I owned layout and visual direction:
- Established modular grid systems and typographic hierarchy for consistency
- Built reusable templates to speed up production while keeping variety
- Balanced imagery, illustration, and text for scannability and rhythm
- Adapted long-form narratives into concise, swipeable sequences
Below are examples of the mini-magazine stacks I designed. Click any cover to view the full horizontal-scrolling issue:
Social Carousels (Instagram & LinkedIn)
I translated editorial stories and announcements into platform-native carousel posts:
- Created bold cover slides to set context and hook attention
- Designed slide systems for data points, quotes, and step-by-step flows
- Optimized composition, legibility, and contrast for mobile-first viewing
- Delivered brand-consistent assets, motion-ready where relevant
Here are some examples of the social carousel posts I designed. You can interact with each post to see the full carousel:
Marketing Collateral
Beyond editorial and social, I supported marketing needs with on-brand assets:
- Campaign one-pagers and event handouts
- Email and landing visuals aligned to product messaging
- Internal and partner decks using a flexible visual system
Tools & Approach
I worked primarily in Figma, using Illustrator and Photoshop for vector and image work. My process emphasized strong typography, clear information architecture, and a library of components that made publishing fast and repeatable without sacrificing craft.
